Rafik Baouche received a Magister degree in Geophysical Applications from the University of Boumerdes (Algeria) and a Doctorate of Earth Sciences from the University of Boumerdes and University of Rennes1, France in 2008.

He is currently a member of the Laboratory of the Earth Sciences in the Faculty of Hydrocarbons and Chemistry at Boumerdes.
