Drug abuse is a social and economic problem in Nigeria.
This study was conducted on drug abuse and its challenges amongst youths in Nigeria.
It delves into the ways and means by which different drugs such as heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine etc are abused.
This study constitutes of concept of drug abuse, the drugs abused amongst youths, frequency of drug abuse among youths, factors influencing drug abuse among youths, gender issues in drug consumption, implications of drug abuse on youths and measures to ameliorate the problems of drug abuse among youths in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, drugs and the ways they are abused keep evolving.

Ugochukwu Ifeyinwa Offor is a senior lecturer in the Dept.
of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
She studied at University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc Ed) in 2002, her Master's Degree (M.Ed) in 2008 and her Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in 2015.
