Phytochemistry and Bioactivity of Teucrium ramosissimum
The uses of medicinal plants in traditional medicine were widespread and they still serve as leads for the development of novel pharmacological agents.
The phytochemicals and bioactive molecules are the secondary metabolic products produced by these plants in response to the environmental stresses.
Several plant extracts or their constituents have proved to contain a variety of Anti-inflammatory, antiulcerogenic, antiproliferation, antioxidant and anticancer substances.
The main aim of this project was to screen the species of Teucrium ramosissimum with respect to their Phytochemistry, Bioactivity and Potential Impact on human health.
